Designed by Wayne McAllister (who also designed the Sands Casino of Las Vegas), opening as Grissinger’s Drive-In in 1952. Later Lyman’s Coffee Shop (starting 1963), Terry’s Coffee Shop (1974), and finally George’s in 1996.

This diner was featured as Fiona’s in the 2004 Hillary Duff teen rom-com A Cinderella Story, with many shots both inside and out. It also appeared (when it was still Terry’s) in the 1994 film Corrina, Corrina, and very briefly (in a literal drive-by) in the start of the 2007 film Zodiac, as well as the 1993 crime film The Real McCoy. It’s also appeared in several episodes of Cold Case.
