Sandwiched between Inglewood and Ladera Heights, this Googie-style cafe was started by Greek immigrants George and Rena Panagopoulos, after running a small eatery in Inglewood (Rena’s Cafe, 1948-51) and running a Yum Burger on Manchester Boulevard (1951-58). It is still operated by the family, now called Poulos. Well-preserved, its authentic ‘50s looks have enhanced films such as xXx, Bewitched, and Next.
