Originally opened as 4 ‘n 20 Pies, hence the name, and still famous for pies. There is a second location at 4723 Laurel Canyon, in Valley Forge, Calif.

The original Sherman Oaks location has been used for interior shots of the fictional JJ’s Diner of Pawnee in the TV show Parks and Recreation. (Don’t ask for their famous waffles, though, as they don’t have them. That part’s entirely fiction. But do have the pie.)
