13-seat custom Valentine with a fantasy castle design modelled after Sleeping Beauty’s Castle at Disneyland. Moved to present location from across the street in 1960. A second, larger storefront location six blocks away at Acacia Park (131 East Bijou Street) is less fanciful and eye-catching, but no less delicious, with attractive late-night hours. To join the Clean Plate Club, completely finish The Thing. (The less daring can merely sample it, at half and quarter sizes.) Cash only.
