Replaced an older barrel-roof diner at this same location since at least Aug. 1945 by the same owner who purchased the present diner (Christos G. Pappadigines) as the Highway Diner by Feb. 1952, and has always been at this location.
Complete rehabilitation performed early 2016; original diner car maintained as much as possible.
Local news reports it’s likely to be demolished soon to make way for a new apartment building.
