Landmark Jr. is an extension of the Landmark Diner chain of Atlanta started in 1994 by Greek immigrant and former steamship cook Tom Lambrou, who previously started several diners in his original landing area of New York and New Jersey, including the Briarcliff Diner of Ossining, N.Y.(now also called Landmark and run by a relative). Lambrou came south to Atlanta ahead of the Olympics, made good, and has been here ever since.
