Notes:
Iconic West Loop eatery that’s been open for almost a century now and changed little in that time. It’s location at the start of historic Route 66 gave it the nickname “first stop on the mother road”. Today, its convenient location near Union Station still draws many commuters and travellers. Guests receive doughnut holes or Milk Duds on arrival. Cash only.
Bakery products and their Greystone coffee products are also sold at the Haagen-Dazs in the Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont.
