Started as the Laurel Diner, a c. 1934 Silk City, which went to Baltimore in 1951 or ‘52 to replace a converted trolley car there. At that time, this brand-new Comac appeared to replace the original, and in 1982 became part of the Tastee Diner mini-chain.
While the diner remains open for now, it has been for sale for five years, and recently failed to sell to a medical marijuana dispensary when a permit was blocked for that use.
