Notes:
Acquired personally by Henry Ford out of nostalgia in 1926 or 1927 and placed it at Greenfield Village, this might be the last extant original horse-drawn ‘night lunch wagon’ from the earliest days of diner history. Renovated a number of times, most recently in 1986 under guidance of diner historian Richard J.S. Gutman.
Still at Greenfield Village, now part of The Henry Ford Museum, it is ‘open’ in the sense that museum visitors can get packages, snacks, and drinks during museum hours.
