Though once well known enough to be featured on postcards, the diner’s fate and whereabouts were unknown for years. In May 2016, it was found inside another small building, at this address, during demolition for a new Coast Roast coffee bar. After years of serving as a diner, Falk’s was relegated to other use, including a feed store, hatchery, and liquor store. Coast Roast reports that the diner was in very poor condition after so many years of neglect, and was not savable.
