Heavily modified monitor-roof diner attested as far back as 1930; known as the Joe & Larry Diner by 1931 when it was owned by Polish immigrant Joseph Rowall, helped by fellow Pole John Socker, who took over in 1936 and shortened the name to J&L Diner. (Thanks to Mike Engle and Spencer Stewart.)
The address also matches a church set up in November 1994, though it seems an unlikely location. Ended its service live as a low-end gold-buying operation. Demolished sometime before June 2016 to make way for new construction.
