Originally operated by Bob Dye at the northwest corner of Neil Street and Springfield Avenue in Champaign, Illinois 1956-76, then sold and moved to Villa Grove, before reopening as Elite Diner in Urbana 1983-2002. Then went to Homer and Detroit. New owners Tom & Sally Ketchum got the diner and original Chuck Wagon sign (stored in Chicago for three decades), and reopened it here April 2010. Later operated by Frank Haley as New Old Chuck Wagon Diner.
