Originally commissioned by John Korsak and Frank Willie till 1944, who ran it as Frankie & Johnnie’s Diner in Lowell, Mass., till they both got called up for WW2. It was then sold off and restored by Worcester, and brought here, replacing an earlier diner. (Details unknown.) Only surviving barrel-roof diner in Vermont.

Closed since the start of the pandemic, there’s rumour that the diner should reopen under new management sometime in 2022.
Purchased by a local nonprofit, which hopes to reopen the diner in 2025.
