In 1999, Sonnie and Sharie Knight built a 12’x16” shack a literal stone’s throw from the mighty Ohio River, and a short swim from the state of that name. This now twenty-year-old local roadside — and riverside — weenie stand now also includes two added school buses. Obviously famous for a huge selection of hot dogs (over 50 different options, including enormous one- and two-pounders), they also serve burgers and other roadside staples and a wide array of sides, plus a large selection of drinks, including beers both local and imported — all with “quirky, down-home charm”. You can also book it for birthdays and even weddin’s, and many people have.
